History

Formed in 1958, through the subsequent decades FDMC developed a growing band of competitors and calendar of events, including the Winter Mixture road rally, Dimanche Tour and Summer Sort Out special stage rallies, Barley Mow autocross, Sprint Royale, Rotherfield Park hillclimb, PCT's, and autotests.

FDMC today

The club today continues a wide range of motorsport activities, including running several Sprints and AutoSolos through each competition season, plus the invitations we receive to events which are run by other clubs in Central Southern area, and further afield. New members are always welcome, and there are lots of opportunities to get involved, on the competing or the organising side, or both!

Join the club

Our annual membership fee is just £20 single, or £25 joint (husband / wife / partner). Easy ways to find out more, or join, include:

- Browsing our Forum will show more of our current club news and debates, and by registering as a user, you can join in.

- Contact a committee member, through our Contact us page, to discuss your interests.

- Drop in on our next Club night, at The Old Court House pub, Cove, Farnborough; normally on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, from about 9 pm, but check our 'News and Social' page for any variations.

- Print out this Application Form, fill in the details, and send it with your subscription to our Membership Secretary, at the address on the Form; he can also arrange a Proposer and Seconder.

Bank Standing Order amendment form, for the current fees:

For existing members, if your Bank Standing Order is for one of the previous, lower membership fees (before 2008): just print our and complete this Amendment Form, and post it to our Membership Secretary, at the address on the Form.

FDMC Regalia

Now available: our range of good quality motor sports / leisurewear, in FDMC's colours, including: Fleeces, £20; Polo shirts, £10; T-shirts, Caps, Hats, and cloth badges, all at £5.
