Carl's motoring past includes rebuilding air cooled VW's, constructing various kit cars, and track day adventures with a Porsche 924 Le Mans. He joined FDMC to start competing in a 16 valve Golf, followed by a Lotus Elise, which made frequent appearances in sprints and Solos, and has now been replaced by this Mazda MX5.

Carl is also the club's Secretary, and when not doing things connected with cars or motorsport, he works in IT, but claims a secret yearning to do something more useful, like opening his own mountain bike shop.....
