Steve's day job must rank high on the wishlist of any car nut, since he builds hot rods on a professional basis, including four cars which have won awards at European shows. As with many members, the 'downward path' started on joining FDMC, leading to active involvement in motorsport, first with an MGF, and then a Honda Integra Type R.

Good results at sprints and Solos have followed, in both these cars - and in anything else Steve can lay hands on, including in this picture, Paul Looby's Mazda, at our Autumn Antics Slalom. The ear to ear grin also comes as standard, whenever Steve is competing.
